My Birthday Girl!

Lindsey blowing out the candles. It took her a couple of tries.
Lindsey starting to decorate her own cake!

Her finished cake she decorated herself. Not too bad.

Matthew and Laci singing Happy Birthday.

Laci really enjoyed the cake!
June 18th is Lindsey's birthday. She turned 6. We had a big "pretend" birthday party for her in Florida with all of our family before we left. So, on her actual birthday we did a small party at home with just our group. Lindsey decided she wanted to make her own birthday cake and decorate it herself. She was so excited about it. Matthew helped in making the cake but Lindsey decorated it all by herself. I really can not believe she is 6 already. Time really flies by! I try to remind myself to take time to enjoy each child, before you know it they will have a family of their own.
We all love you Lindsey.

The group posing for a picture!

Me and Heidi
On our final day Heidi and Andrew were so kind to plan a visit poolside. They provided dinner and conversation. The kids had a blast playing together!
I have really enjoyed meeting Heidi and Andrew. Heidi and I really built a strong friendship in the amount of time I was in Sebring. I'm really going to miss her. I'm sad that I won't be in town to see her through her 3rd pregnancy. Thank you Heidi for your friendship. I am so glad we met! I intend to keep you as a friend for a lifetime!
Love you guys!

Dinner with the Leaphart's and Brown's!

The crew!

The girls! Lisa, Stacy, and me!

The boys! Michael, Shane, and Ryan!

On packing day we met our friends for dinner at Outback! Michael has a funny story. The movers pack everything in the house. Well, you are supposed to have your things you need put out to the side so you have some items once the movers have packed the entire house. Well, if any of you know my husband...he his last minute for everything. Only..to late...the movers packed his clothes. He was able to scrounge up an outfit but one vital piece was missing. Luckily it was underneath so no one really knew until we discussed it at dinner...hehe!!

This group has been my friends for so many years. I look forward to growing through life with each of them! We have shared so many experiences and I know we will continue to be there for each other through the rest of our lives. You guys are all a part of me now..... I love you all and miss you dearly. We will be hanging out with the Leapharts in NY and I just know we'll plan a family vacation with the crew sometime in the future!! Just because we are now in another state doesn't change our friendship.

My Kindergarten Graduate!

Lindsey receiving her diploma!
Lindsey back in the classroom showing Laci how to be a student.

Lindsey's Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Fassold

The 3 Amigos! Lindsey, Mandy, and Jessica.

Lindsey trying to quiet her sister!
The last week of school was also Kindergarten graduation. Lindsey finished the school year without a problem. I am so proud of her! She appears to be stepping in behind Matthew and making great grades at school. Lindsey had such a wonderful year. She absolutely loved her teacher and had some great friends in class. It seems like yesterday that she was born and now I have my 2nd child out of Kindergarten already. They grow so quickly. How sad. I was actually brought to tears in the program because a grandmother that sat behind me was sobbing about her grandaughter...it made me reflect on how quickly my children are going up and I wept both in joy and sorrow!
I love you Lindsey!!

Lindsey also did a little performance. She was the letter G. I'm so proud of my G.

Farewell Dinner

The gang!
Me and Stacy taking time out for a picture...as usual!

Courtney, Barbie, Jen, and Cristy
Before I left Sebring the girls and I got together for one last time! The evening started out with Stacy, Cristy, and myself getting a pedicure which I needed desperately. Then we met the rest of the group at Yanni's for dinner. It was so good. I really enjoyed our time together. After dinner we were off to watch the opening of "Sex in the City". I never watched the series so I wasn't sure if it would keep me entertained, however, I was pleasantly surprised. I think it was such a great girlfriends movie. I am going to miss all of you. I hope to be back someday and then we can pick up where we left off!! Plus, I do expect that each of you will keep in touch anyway...hehe!!
Love you all!

The last Doctor visit in Florida

I had to include a picture of the kids with their Doctor in Florida. We have been seeing Dr. Whitworth and Dr. Kleine since Matthew was born in 1999. I am really going to miss their practice. These doctors have been hands on and very caring. It's going to be hard to replace a relationship you've built over 8 years.

Matthew's 2nd grade Awards

Matthew with Dr. Demeri receiving his Excellence Award
Matthew receiving the Math award for being top of his class.

The last week of school Cracker Trail held their awards ceremony. Matthew is such a bright student and we are so proud of him! He received the Excellence award for having all A's through the school year. Matthew was also selected for being the top Math student for his classroom. Matthew has always shown intelligence and I know that he will excel at whatever he does in life.
I love you Matthew!

New Residents of NC

We have arrived to our new location in Roanoke Rapids, NC. We are still in a mountain of boxes but I'm hopeful that we will be completely moved in by this coming weekend. I have yet to find my computer cable for my digital camera so I can update my pictures. When I find it I will post pictures of our new home.

I have already found some things for Lindsey and Matthew to do! Matthew started Tae Kwon Doe this week and Lindsey started on a competitive cheer team and Dance studio this week as well. Well actually her dance class will not start until July!! I'm hearing things from parents I've met at these locations. There is supposed to be some sort of Music program for toddlers that I'm going to have to check out for Laci.

We are going to visit a new church this weekend, but it's going to be hard to top what we found in Sebring! I'm remaining hopeful.

Love and Hugs to all!!
