Lindsey's early Christmas Gift!

Lindsey reading her letter from "Santa"

Bella waiting in the sleigh!

Lindsey was absolutely thrilled!
Laci loves Bella too!
A week before Christmas Santa made an early visit to our home. Lindsey has been asking for a Chihuahua for over a year and Santa (with the parent's permission) decided to fulfill Lindsey's wish! Bella was delivered a week early with a letter from Santa explaining that he could not keep her until Christmas because she needed love and attention immediatley and there was no room in the sleigh! Lindsey was so excited! She is such an animal lover and has been doing her duties of taking care of Bella very well!

Christmas Jammies...

My beautiful family decked out in Christmas Jammies on Christmas Eve!

Christmas Family Photo

Ok family and friends....I didn't send out Christmas cards this year. I was sick the 3 weeks leading up to Christmas and just couldn't get my act together. We did have a few pictures taken in an attempt to send out cards but we just didn't make it in time. We had so much to get caught up on and preparing for our trip home to Florida! Catch you all next year. I still love and miss you all!

My little bakers.....

Grandma, Michael, and the kids after making cookies
Papa..Laci won the cookie contest this year...hands down!

Lindsey posing with Bella...her new pup! Don't worry...she washed her hands before baking!

Matthew...ready for the flour!

Michael patting out the dough!
We decided to bake Christmas cookies while Grandma Cotton was here for Matthew's school play! Grandma bought each of the kids a cute holiday apron and hat and we enjoyed making delicious sugar cookies...ok...I admit they weren't the best but they weren't bad! We had a great time together with flour everywhere! We used to have a cookie contest around Christmas with Michael's family and we really missed Papa Cotton's Oatmeal Raisin cookies this year!

My little actor.....Matthew

Matthew as "Santa Claus"

Mr. and Mrs. Claus

Matthew's Solo

Checking his list!

Grandma and our family after the show!
Matthew auditioned for the school play "A Storybook Christmas". He landed a lead role as Santa Claus! Matthew has been practicing for the play since September and he had 2 performances on December 9th and 11th. Grandma Cotton flew up on the 11th to see Matthew's performance. I am so proud of Matt. Not only is he the cutest Santa you'd ever see....he did an excellent job and didn't forget any of his lines. He also sang a solo and momma was so proud. Matthew came down with a virus the day of the play but he remained dedicated and finished his part....the show must go on!! I'm so proud of my boy! He is very talented!

Lindsey's 1st Cheer Competition-- Fayetteville, NC

Lindsey is on the local competition cheer team. I am so proud of her. She is the youngest member and she keeps up with the team so well!! Lindsey has really found something she enjoys! Although sometimes I think she just likes being around so many girls. Lindsey has really blossomed over the last year! She works hard at everything she does and I'm very impressed that she's almost able to do her back hand spring alone at 6! Wow!

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth....

I couldn't resist blogging about Lindsey's lost front teeth. She lost the first one around Halloween and we told her that she looked like a Jack-o-lantern!! Then the 2nd tooth fell out a couple of weeks before Christmas. We taught her the song "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth" and she enjoyed it!
