The slide show took me forever to complete. I guess I had way to many pictures to go through...and with the kids home it was quite a process. Anyway, I have several misspelled words...which I didn't even check until posting...so please forgive me! I didn't have the time left to edit.... it is what it is....
Love to you all!

Lunch with Heidi
While I was back in Florida I was able to slip away for a weekday lunch with my friend Heidi and her girls! We met for lunch with all the kids in tow! It was a great visit. We got to catch up and take the kids on several bathroom breaks...hehe! I always enjoy my time with Heidi...she makes me laugh. She's expecting her 3rd child...and you can't even tell she's pregnant!! I miss you girl!
Trip home to Florida
Well...I'm finally trying to catch up on my blogs. The week before Michael and I left for NY I was able to come home to Florida to visit with family. As most of you know we had to fly the children home to Florida so Michael and I could spend our 10th anniversary together in NY. I am so thankful that I have family that is willing to take care of the kids for me while we celebrated! My sister and mother rearranged their schedules to take care of the kids. My mother took vacation from work and made sure all the kids had a great time! I am so appreciative for both of them....I always know that they will help at the drop of a hat! I love you guys!
I didn't get a lot of pictures at home because I was trying to save my camera space for NY since I would not be home to download any pictures. I basically had to pack for NY and FL in the same bag...plus pack the 3 kids....so my space for items was limited. Needless to say that everytime they had to weigh my luggage I was over the 50 pound limit they set and had to rearrange items to pass...hehe! It was crazy trying to get everyone and everything together!
I flew from FL to NY and Michael flew from VA to NY. We met up at the airport!
We stayed at my sister's house. We had a great visit. James always jokes that I need to come back and stay because my sister cooked some really great dinners while I was there. She really took care of me and the kids. Kristi is so giving and compassionate....she's my best friend!
My time passed way to quickly in Florida! I'm not used to living away and trying to get a visit in with everyone...so I am going to do much better the next time!

Richmond Science Museum
We recently visited the Richmond Science Museum. I have to admit, it was impressive. It is 4 stories of exhibits. We had a great time. It also has a planetarium and imax theater. Here are some things that we visited.
Matthew on the simulator with 0 gravity walking on the moon. It was really hard to do!
Lindsey operating the space craft after it has landed on the moon.
Matthew and Lindsey experiencing what it feels like to be an ice skater doing the spin. Can't remember what it is actually called...sorry!
The submarine!
This picture has a funny story. We walked to this exhibit only to see the male and female anatomy on display. The purpose is to show how babies are formed in the womb and the stages of development. Well, as you can see on Matthew's face he thought it to be quite funny. What do you do when you are in the museum and your children see the exhibit? I actually noticed it first and was telling Michael to take a look so we could figure out how to react. He looked over and had this embarrassed look on his face and quickly looked away....it was so funny! He acted like it was something he should not be viewing! You had to be there but I broke out in laughter at Michael and felt like we were in 2nd grade!
Thankfully we didn't really discuss the exhibit with the kids. Matthew took a look and then didn't really say anything. Lindsey was oblivious!
Happy 4th of July!
On July the 4th our family just hung around locally. We grilled out dinner and then left to a local town to watch the fireworks. Here they don't shoot off fireworks over a huge lake..instead it was in a huge open field. We timed it perfectly. Matthew and Lindsey enjoyed the show. Laci on the other hand didn't cry but she covered her eyes the whole time. She was so cute...she sat on my lap and wanted me to wrap both arms around her while she covered her eyes...from time to time she would peek out of her hands! We had a great time together!
Our new home in North Carolina!
Ok...I kept promising pictures of our home in NC. Well...here they finally are! I haven't taken any of the inside yet! We are renting this home because as many of you know our home in FL has yet to sell. Plus, we intend to make it back that way sometime in the next couple of years. This home is in a really nice neighborhood with lots of children. Matthew and Lindsey absolutely love that! Plus it is in the best school district for the town.
The house is 2 stories. There are 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms. Plenty of space for the family. Matthew and Lindsey's bedrooms are upstairs and they have yet to sleep in them...hehe!! I didn't post a picture of the back yard but that is my favorite. It has a white picket fence around the entire back yard. The kids enjoy playing back there and I don't have to worry so much because they are fenced in!
